Online Auction Community Changes Name
Fleabay is now OnlineAuction.me

After coming off a successful site format transition, Fleabay, the online auction community, transitions to a new brand: OnlineAuction.me.
A few weeks ago Ideastone announced that Fleabay was changing site formats to create a more user-friendly user experience. As a part of the commitment to the online auction community it made sense for a name transition from Fleabay to OnlineAuction.me. The name is easier to remember and better represents the ideas behind the site more clearly.
With all this change happening at the site it is interesting to note that user response thus far is overwhelmingly positive. Said Brian Knapp, creator of OnlineAuction.me, “We've made a lot of changes recently to the site and luckily for us the users seem to love them.”
“We think the new brand represents the ideas and goals of the site much better than Fleabay did.” said Brian when asked about the site. “OnlineAuction.me is much easier to remember and right away you know what the site is about.”
The name change is just one of many rapid changes happening at OnlineAuction.me. The site started as a digg-like community, but recently changed to more of a search-focused concept. Since then, traffic has increased dramatically and overall user interaction is increasing as well. Now with the new name and new design, the site is expected to grow even faster.
